// About the compatibility testing tool
  Question
What is the WebArrow Compatibility Testing Tool and how can I use it?
  Answer
The network testing tool is designed to determine how well your network and local machine setting are able to accomodate the WebArrow/Conference System. The tool runs a number of tests to determine possible problems prior to installation of the WebArrow/Conference software. The tool tests whether:

1) Active scripting is enabled (JavaScript and VB Script)
2) A valid operating system is being used (Win98/ME/2K/XP)
3) The browser is Internet Explorer (IE) 5.0+
4) Cookies are enabled
5) IE security settings permit installation of ActiveX components
6) The user has permissions for installing WebArrow/Sharing
7) UDP/TCP connections are enabled and whether proxy authentication is required.

A link to the Network Testing Tool can be found in the meeting invitation under the 'Joining the Meeting' section. Simply click the 'Test Conferencing Software' link to launch the tester page.

If you have not received an invitation and would still like to test the compatibility of your system with WebArrow, please contact Namzak Labs Support or your WebArrow contact.
